SELECTIVELY MOVABLE VALVES FOR ASPIRATION AND IRRIGATION CIRCUITS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61F9/07 A61M1/00 A61M3/02

Abstract RU 2773370 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to an aspiration circuit of a jet technology system for selective aspiration control. The circuit contains an aspiration line functionally connected to a surgical instrument. The circuit includes an aspiration pump to create an aspiration flow in the aspiration line. The loop has an aspiration outlet line operatively connected to an aspiration pump at one end and a waste container at the opposite end. The circuit contains an aspiration ventilation line connected at the first end to the aspiration line between the aspiration pump and the surgical instrument. The circuit includes a selectively adjustable exhaust valve operatively connected to the suction ventilation line. The selectively adjustable outlet valve is selectively movable to selectively change the aspiration pressure in the aspiration line. The circuit has an irrigation line functionally connected to the surgical instrument. The circuit contains an irrigation line pressure sensor and a power drive. The pressure sensor of the irrigation line is positioned to detect the pressure in the irrigation line, and the actuator is operatively connected to the outlet valve. The pressure sensor of the irrigation line and the power drive are connected to the control unit. The control unit is configured to actuate the exhaust valve in response to pressure detected by the irrigation line pressure sensor to change the suction pressure within the suction line.

EFFECT: reducing the sharpness of the wave recovery curve, reducing the dependence on the elastomeric material, reducing the response time, reducing the acoustic noise, reducing the cost and simplifying the surgical system.
