FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: cataract removal device with irrigation and aspiration systems, where the irrigation system consists of a removable container with an irrigation solution, detachably attached to the top of a telescopic stand, which moves vertically reciprocally, irrigation polymer elastic hose, connected at one end to the reservoir, at the other end—to the irrigation pump chamber detachably by means of a nozzle, then an irrigation duct passing through the branch pipe of the surgical instrument, through which the solution is supplied inside the eyeball through an incision of limbal or paralimbal localization. Aspiration system consists of an aspiration channel of the head part of the surgical instrument at the beginning of the system on one side. At that, the head part is made movable and is activated by a drive built into the handle, and directly destroys the lens, then with an aspiration pump and a polymer bag-receiver for removed masses at the end of the system on the other side, and the systems are equipped with negative pressure sensors in the aspiration system and positive pressure sensors in the irrigation system. Irrigation and aspiration pumps are placed in the head part of the surgical instrument, which is made as a disposable sterile replaceable solid polymer, and their drives are placed in a handle detachably attached to the rear end of the head part of the surgical instrument and made reusable resterilizable. Handle has a functional connection to the processor unit of the device. At that, the length of the front pre-pump active part of the aspiration system and the front post-pump active part of the irrigation system is shorter than the length of their rear parts going from the pumps to the tanks, collecting the destructible mass from the aspiration system and supplying the irrigation solution to the irrigation system.
EFFECT: use of this invention will make it possible to increase the technological safety of operations on the lens of the eye.
