SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. An ophthalmic surgical hand piece comprises a drive connected to a mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is connected to a needle. An aspiration pump is integrated with the hand piece and adjoins the needle. A rigid section of the aspiration line is arranged between the aspiration pump and the needle. A pressure sensor is provided between the aspiration pump and the needle.
EFFECT: structural improvement.
