FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to experimental physics. Method of hyperspeed casting of metal element, fixed on side of free end of tubular explosive charge (EC) opposite to charge initiation device, includes initiation of EC, formation of Mach shock wave. Two surfaces of shock wave (SW) are created during formation of Mach shock wave, which move at different angles in relation to axis of charge with SW surface inclination angle greater at charge axis than that on its periphery. Cumulative casting in compliance comprises axially symmetric tubular explosive charge (EC) with coaxially installed insert inside it, initiation device with initiation points, arranged in circle on external side surface of EC on side of one of its ends. Insert is made in form of solid cylinder with axial conical groove on side of initiation device and axial projection in form of truncated cone on opposite side, inside groove conical insert is placed, acoustic stiffness of which is greater than acoustic stiffness of insert, directed with its top in direction of casting. On end surface of EC opposite to initiation device metal washer is placed, in central hole of which cast metal element is fixed. Cast metal element can be made compact, in form of plate, plate can have different thickness.
EFFECT: technical result is carrying out of experimental research of high-speed cast bodies of different shapes with use of smaller weight ECs.
