FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method to form a compact element includes initiation of a tubular explosive change and acceleration of a projected body under action of a cumulative gas jet generated during charge detonation. The projected body is installed in a metal barrel at the specified distance from the barrel inlet with closure of its channel, and then the explosive charge is initiated. The projector blaster contains a tubular explosive charge, an initiation device arranged at one of its ends, a projected body and a metal barrel, the channel of which at the outlet from the barrel has a diameter of less or equal to the projected body midship section. The projected body is installed at the specified distance from the inlet of the barrel on a section with dimensions that match at least some dimensions of the side surface of the projected body.
EFFECT: compact element is made of high-density alloy for further experimental research of high-speed interaction of an element with obstacles.
