FIELD: processing of waste.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for recycling production and consumption waste from polymer, composite, and rubber materials and to an apparatus for implementation thereof. Proposed is a method wherein a bath of a liquid metal cooling agent is formed by melting, said agent consisting of one or more metals from the group: lead, bismuth, zinc, aluminium, copper, wherein the cooling agent is overheated by 50 to 150°C above the melting point, a separating layer is created on the surface of the melt of the cooling agent by melting a complex of alkaline and alkaline earth metal salts on the surface of the melt of the cooling agent, and a refining layer over the separating layer by melting active additives consisting of alkaline and/or alkaline earth metals. The following conditions are therein satisfied: the melting point of the melt of the liquid metal cooling agent is higher than the melting point of the melt of salts of the separating layer, which, in turn, is higher than the melting point of the melt of the refining layer, and the density of the melt of the liquid metal cooling agent is greater than the density of the melt of salts of the separating layer, which, in turn, is greater than the density of the melt of the refining layer. A weighed portion of waste, previously placed in a container with perforated walls and at least one horizontal divider, is then supplied and pushed through the bath of liquid metal cooling agent. Upon the end of pyrolysis, the containers are then removed from the melt. A constant concentration of active additives is therein maintained by introducing portions of the active additive jointly with the new portions of waste subjected to pyrolysis. The apparatus includes: an internal space formed by a hearth, side walls, and a vault, input and output gateways made in the side walls of the apparatus, wherein a reaction chamber is made in the internal space, isolated by vertical dividers extending from the vault and lowered below the level of the melt of cooling agent, and equipped with a branch pipe for outputting pyrolysis gases into the capture and condensation system. The apparatus also comprises rail guides configured for movement of at least one container thereon, located from the input to the output gateway, and laid below the level of the melt of cooling agent, wherein at least one container is made with perforated walls and at least one horizontal divider, wherein the guides from the input gateway to the reaction chamber are made along a descending trajectory at an angle to the horizon, and have the lowest point of the trajectory of the containers at the inlet of the reaction chamber, and from the reaction chamber to the output gateway the guides are made along an ascending trajectory.
EFFECT: increase in the degree of desulphuration and dechlorination of pyrolysis products in the form of a solid carbon-containing residue and primarily gaseous products to a level allowing for application thereof as independent commercial products without additional refining, as well as reduction in the consumption of high-cost alkaline and alkaline earth metals.
