FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to composite materials containing cross-linked hyaluronic acid and hydroxyapatite, methods for the production of such composite materials, and their use for the preparation of cosmetic compositions, medical compositions and pharmaceutical compositions. A method is described for the production of an injection gel composition suitable for filling tissues, containing cross-linked hyaluronic acid and hydroxyapatite. The specified method includes: combination of hyaluronic acid or its salt, as well as a linking agent in an aqueous medium, and a cross-linking reaction in the presence of the first hydroxyapatite portion. The specified hydroxyapatite portion is from 5 to 90 weight percent of the total amount of hydroxyapatite. The method also includes completion of the cross-linking reaction, and inclusion of the second hydroxyapatite portion to gel formed this way.
EFFECT: creation of composite materials with hyaluronic acid with improved required properties, such as controlled resistance to both enzymatic and non-enzymatic degradation, and/or spatial swelling, and/or improved rheological properties, and/or mechanical stability, and/or reduced side effects, and/or biocompatibility, and/or controlled osmolarity.
