SUBSTANCE: method for detecting a wakeup signal includes: the terminal apparatus sending the a first information to the network apparatus, wherein the first information indicates the reported interval; the terminal apparatus receiving the second information sent by the network apparatus, indicating the state of configuration of the first interval and the state of configuration of the second interval; determining the state of configuration of the first interval and the state of configuration of the second interval by the terminal apparatus, based on the second information; determining the target interval by the terminal apparatus, based on the reported interval, the state of configuration of the first interval and the state of configuration of the second interval; and detecting a wakeup signal by the terminal apparatus in the detection position before the initial position of the first paging event in the paging time window, wherein the detection position is determined based on the target interval and the maximum duration of the wakeup signal.

EFFECT: possibility of determining the position for detecting a wakeup signal by the terminal apparatus so as to prevent blind detection of the wakeup signal by the terminal apparatus, thereby reducing the energy consumption of the terminal apparatus.
