FIELD: sorbents, catalysts. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of zeolite-Beta used as catalyst in petroleum processing, basic and fine organic chemistry and as adsorbent. Method for preparing zeolite-Beta involves hydrothermal crystallization of reaction mixture containing water, alkali, silicon source, source of silicon isomorphono- substituting element and tetraethylammonium salt with anion of positive hydration or method involves application of mixture of tetraethylammonium salts having at least one anion with positive hydration. The source of silicon isomorphono-substituting element represents compound of aluminum and/or boron, and/or gallium, and/or iron, and/or vanadium, and/or titanium, and/or their any mixture. Invention is directed for simplification of method for preparing zeolite-Beta without reduction of quality of prepared zeolite and without deterioration of effectiveness in carrying out the process of synthesis.
