FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metal forming and can be used in the manufacture of axisymmetric thin-walled pipe shells. Pipes are cut into blanks. Then, spinning is performed on a spinning-rolling machine in one or more transitions with intermediate annealing to form alternating thickened, transitional conical and thinned sections. The angle of inclination of the conical sections of the workpiece is set no more than the front and rear angles of the profile of the deforming rollers. The conjugation radius of the conical and thinned sections is set not less than the radius at the top of the rollers. A fluorine-containing lubricating emulsion based on industrial oil is used as a lubricant and coolant.
EFFECT: obtaining shells with high geometrical accuracy and high quality of the machined surface, increasing the metal utilization rate and the durability of the deforming tool.
