SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. For the treatment of ulcerative lesions of the cornea and corneal graft in children, a session of UV crosslinking of corneal collagen in the area of the ulcer without deepithelization is performed against the background of instillations of 0.1% riboflavin solution at a power density of 2 mW/cm2, exposure for 3-5 minutes. Next, the cornea is covered with an amniotic membrane, fixed along the limbus, and a therapeutic contact lens is put on. Every 5 days, the session is repeated until complete epithelialization.
EFFECT: method reduces the time for relief of the inflammatory process, provides complete epithelialization of the defect and prevention of gross scarring with the formation of vascularized corneal opacity.
