FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the treatment of perforated ulcers of the keratograft. The keratograft is replaced with a cryopreserved cornea graft. The cryopreserved cornea is subjected to corneal collagen crosslinking according to the standard Dresden protocol before performing keratoplasty.
EFFECT: invention provides prevention of complications in the form of cataract development, retinal damage and recurrence of graft perforation by increasing the biomechanical strength of the cryopreserved cornea while reducing the risk of lysis in the postoperative period.
