APPARATUS FOR CONDUCTING A LOAD ON THE LIGAMENTOUS APPARATUS IN RADIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT OF THE DEGREE OF INSTABILITY OF THE KNEE JOINT Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B5/11

Abstract RU 2774039 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to apparatus for conducting a load on the ligamentous apparatus in radiological assessment of the degree of instability of the knee joint. Apparatus includes two mobile bars with two supporting elements on the limb moving along the entire length. The mobile bars are connected with the main platform. A mechanism pressurising the tested segment of the limb is installed on the main platform of the apparatus. The pressurising mechanism is presented in the form of an electronic hydraulic mechanism with a set pressure force parameter of 200 N. The mechanism includes a liquid supply unit enclosed in a body, containing a liquid cartridge, an electronic liquid supply control, and a proportional electric valve, connected in series, and also includes a hydraulic cylinder and a linear displacement measurement sensor enclosed in the piston of the hydraulic mechanism. The linear displacement measurement sensor is configured to be connected with a digital indicator panel located on the body of the hydraulic mechanism. The mobile bars are connected with the main platform by means of two parallel racks with a circular cross section. Each mobile bar includes two holes for sliding connection with the racks.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of assessing the degree of instability of the knee joint and reduction in the risk of iatrogenic damage to the collateral ligaments of the knee joint.
