FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming grafts after performing arthrotomy. One graft is made from a part of kneepan ligament tendon and the other one is taken from the anterior half of the musculus biceps femoris tendon and a part of the ilio-tibial band by their suturing into a combined graft. Canal having outlet into the anterior or posterior fossa of the iliac eminence is made in the tibia. The first graft is brought through a fat body and is arranged in the tibial canal. The combined graft is brought through the posterior part of the knee joint capsule into the same tibial canal. The combined graft is stretched and its end is fixed with bone suture at the outlet from the canal in the 150 deg flexion position of the joint. The kneepan ligament graft is stretched in the state when the joint is extended to 180 deg and fixed like in the previous case to the tibia. EFFECT: improved functional results.
