FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely, to a composite electrode material that can be used in the manufacture of electrodes for energy sources, for example, for supercapacitors. An increase in the mechanical strength of the electrodes by improving the composite material is a technical result of the invention, which is achieved due to the fact that the electrode material from a carbon base from a mixture of active carbon is subjected to mechanical activation with particles of nickel, cobalt, in the presence of bentonite, after which finely dispersed zeolite is added, and the resulting the material is pressed on surfaces with depressions and protrusions with sizes from 2 to 5 microns. Uniform distribution of the loose mixture in the ball mill is achieved after processing for 2-3 hours, while bentonite is used to ensure the mechanical bonding of the material components.
EFFECT: addition of finely dispersed zeolite to the composite electrode material during pressing ensures the formation of a hierarchical structure, which contributes to a better interaction of the composite material with the electrolyte.
