FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to reconstructive plastic surgery in oncology. A skin-fat flap of the behind-the-ear area is formed. In this case, two parallel incisions are made, perpendicular to the curl of the auricle. The distance between the incisions corresponds to the length of the defect in the helix of the auricle. In this case, the upper edge of the flap is left longer, and the lower one is shorter. Further, the incisions are connected at the base of the auricle and a skin-fat flap of the behind-the-ear region is formed on the posterior auricular artery. The flap is moved to the area of the auricle defect, fixed along the anterior edge of the defect. After 3 weeks, the base of the flap is cut off and sutured to the posterior surface of the auricle. In this case, the base of the displaced skin-fat flap is cut off from the behind-the-ear region at an angle of 45 degrees. The formed edge of the flap is tucked towards the posterior edge of the helix of the auricle. The edge of the flap is sutured with separate interrupted sutures to the posterior surface of the auricle and an anatomically shaped curl of the auricle is formed.
EFFECT: method allows to avoid cicatricial deformation of the postoperative area during the reconstruction of the helix of the auricle and to achieve a better cosmetic effect.
