METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE DEGREE OF LOSS OF PROFESSIONAL WORKING ABILITY IN OCCUPATIONAL VERTEBROGENIC DISEASES BASED ON CLINICAL AND ELECTRONEUROMYOGRAPHIC INDICATORS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B5/103 A61B5/11

Abstract RU 2774172 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely, to neurology, occupational pathology, and medical and social expertise, and can be used in determining the degree of loss of professional working ability (LPWA) in occupational vertebrogenic diseases. For this purpose, the following are scored: limitation of the volume of movements in the affected area of the spine, motor disorders of the function of upper and/or lower limbs, the degree of urinary and/or fecal incontinence, disorders of the biomechanical indicators of walking, disorders of the bioelectric activity by electromyography. Additionally determined are: the intensity and persistence of pain syndrome, the intensity of hypotrophy corresponding to the level of muscle damage and sensitivity disorders, the need for use of additional means of support when walking, and also, stimulation electroneuromyography is performed, the M-wave amplitude is determined, and the form of M-waves is evaluated. The resulting scores are summed, and with a total score from 7 to 22 points, a 10 to 30% degree of LPWA; from 23 to 44 points, a 40 to 60% degree of LPWA; from 45 to 66 points, a 70 to 80% degree of LPWA; and from 67 to 88 points, a 90 to 100% degree of LPWA is determined.

EFFECT: method ensures accurate and objective estimation of the degree of LPWA due to the use of a scoring system for clinical criteria and neurophysiological indicators, and provides standardisation of the method.
