FIELD: casting production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of casting production; it can be used in the manufacture of shell molds. A casting mixture for manufacturing shell molds contains powder particles, a binder, and a surfactant stabilizing the spreading rate. The casting mixture contains at least one substance of Tyrone C6H4Na2O8S2 and sodium polyacrylate as the surfactant stabilizing the spreading rate, wherein the mass content of the specified surfactant in the mixture is less than 0.1%.
EFFECT: due to the interaction with the binder, the surfactant contributes to an increase in the stability of a mixture and elongates its service life, improves covering with mixture of closed or less accessible areas of patterns during the manufacture of molds due to an increase in the spreading rate of the mixture.
