FIELD: robots.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to robots in the form of a head and can be used for advertising, security, entertainment, educational purposes. The infotainment robot contains a control unit, a body in the form of a head, made with a central and occipital parts, mounted on a stand with the possibility of turning the head to the right and left and tilting the head forward. On the rack there is a turntable with a mechanism for turning the head to the right and left and an inclined platform with a mechanism for tilting the head, located inside the head body and connected to each other and to the head of the robot by means of mechanical links. The robot contains two ultrasonic sensors located outside, on the side surfaces of the head, and elements of light indication of the robot's state, located on the side and front surfaces of the head. The robot is made with the possibility of changing the position of the head, issuing speech messages recorded on a removable medium through a sound-reproducing device and simulating eye blinking and mouth opening-closing by light indication elements at the commands of the control unit in response to received signals from ultrasonic sensors.
EFFECT: creation of an infotainment robot that can determine the positions of objects relative to it and respond to the appearance and movement of objects by turning and/or tilting the head with the issuance of light indications and voice messages based on signals from the control unit, while maintaining the stability of the structure.
