SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to airbags. In particular, the present invention relates to an airbag suitable for wearing for protection of the user’s head. An airbag system contains an airbag and a removable shell surrounding the airbag, when the airbag in an uninflated state, and releasing the airbag, when it is in an inflated state, and at least one size adjustment means. In addition, an inflatable helmet with such an airbag system, and an item of clothing with such an airbag system are provided.
EFFECT: providing an airbag system of a new type, which is improved compared to the prior state of the art, and which would be ergonomic and adaptable for different users.
