SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of coal mining. A method for the extraction of residual coal by radial development of a longitudinal slope includes: a device of the main L-shaped or U-shaped tunnel, and the provision of radial mining. The formation of intermediate field drifts is carried out by means of their tunneling perpendicular or diagonally to the intersection with the main L-shaped or U-shaped tunnel. In a coal mining system and a transportation system, a remote control method is used. A tunneling combine forms a tunnel for coal mining. A rubber belt conveyor carries out its transportation. Exhaust ventilation is used in the main tunnel. Injection ventilation is used in intermediate field drifts. The length of intermediate field drifts does not exceed the maximum distance, at which control is provided by means of the remote system. The length of the main tunnel should ensure the extraction of all coal from the longitudinal slope, provided that the length of intermediate field drifts does not exceed the maximum distance, at which control is provided by means of the remote system. Flexible tunnel layout is used.
EFFECT: invention provides high production efficiency, simplicity of the production process and low production costs, provides separate work of personnel and combine harvester.
