FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to devices for control of the movement of an eye therapy device. The eye therapy device contains a hinged manipulator and a data collection system mounted on the manipulator. The free end of the manipulator is designed to be placed opposite human or animal eye tissue. The data collection system is designed to obtain a pair of measurements, including: an image of eye tissue and a signal characterizing the vertical distance between the end of the manipulator and eye tissue. The control device contains: means for control of the data collection system to obtain pairs of measurements sequentially in time; means for processing of each pair of measurements; automatic control means for movement of the free end of the manipulator between an initial position and a certain final position.
EFFECT: possibility of automatization of an installation phase of an eyeball immobilization element in place.
