FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery. In the projection of the location of the left main bronchus to the adventitia of the descending thoracic aorta, a patch of polytetrafluoroethylene 0.4 mm thick is sewn with a non-absorbable monofilament thread with a dimension of 6-0. The aorta is fixed in the position taken away from the bronchus with the help of separate U-shaped suspension seams on synthetic gaskets. At the same time, individual U-shaped suspension seams are carried out for a patch fixed to the aorta, removed to the intercostal space and tied on counter synthetic pads.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain a lasting effect on the elimination of compression of the left main bronchus with minimal risks of hemorrhagic complications due to cutting out the sutures suspending the aorta.
