FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, in particular to mechanisms for opening and closing the covers of unloading hatches of hopper cars, demountable cargo bodies, containers. The mechanism for opening and closing the covers of unloading hatches of freight railway transport contains a drive mechanism, an intermediate lever (2), a longitudinal drive rod (3) connected by means of hinges to an intermediate lever (2) and levers (4), (5). Two extreme hinges are made in the form of longitudinal sliding grooves, in which drive pins are placed.
EFFECT: The non-simultaneous start of the opening of the covers (6) allows the non-simultaneous passage of the covers (6) of their “dead” points, which significantly reduces the necessary efforts developed by the drive mechanism.
