FIELD: high-strength polymer compositions.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of obtaining high-strength polymer compositions based on epoxy resins or mixtures thereof and cycloaliphatic dioxides intended for the manufacture of large-sized products from composite materials that are resistant to prolonged exposure to water. The polymer composition as a hardener contains the product of the interaction of an aromatic amine or a mixture thereof (A) and an aliphatic amine or a mixture thereof (B) in the ratio A:B in wt. pts. from 0.1:99.9 to 99.9:0.1 with organic or inorganic acids with a dissociation constant from 0.5⋅10-10 to 99.25⋅10-5 or their anhydrides, the introduction of which is carried out by dispersion in a mixture (A + B), or previously dissolved in an organic solvent in a ratio in wt. pts mixture of amines (A + B): acid or its anhydride (C) from (A + B): C from 98:2 to 80:20 by stirring in a reactor with a high-speed stirrer at a temperature of 60÷140°C for 2- 80 hours, followed by distillation of the resulting water, which is then introduced into a mixture of epoxy resin with a diluent and stirred at T = 15-40°C for 15÷30 minutes at the following ratio of components, in mass parts: epoxy resin - 100, cycloaliphatic dioxide - 10÷150, hardener - 20÷80.
EFFECT: proposed polymer composition is characterized by increased viability, increased water resistance and strength characteristics, including when exposed to high temperatures.
