FIELD: physical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing cold-cured epoxy resin hardeners used to produce epoxy compositions with high viability for the manufacture of large-sized water-resistant products. A method is proposed for the production of cold-cured hardeners of epoxy resins based on amine derivatives, in which a mixture of aromatic amine or their mixtures (A) and aliphatic amine or their mixtures (B) is used as an amine component, wt. %: A: B from 0.1:99.9 to 99.9:0.1, which is subjected to interaction with organic or inorganic acids with a dissociation constant from 0.5∙10-10 to 9.25∙10-5 or their anhydrides, the introduction of which is carried out by dispersion in a mixture (A + B) or pre-dissolved in an organic solvent in a ratio of, wt. %, mixture of (A+B) amines: acid or anhydride (B) (A+B):B from 98:2 to 80:20 by mixing in a reactor with a high-speed stirrer at a temperature of 60÷140°C for 2-80 hours, followed by distillation of the resulting water.
EFFECT: hardeners obtained by the proposed method make it possible to obtain epoxy resins with high viability and high strength, water resistance and deformation heat resistance.
