FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to civil and industrial building, namely, to a window consisting of an insulating glass unit, a window frame made using a non-metal or metal profile, and a sound-absorbing element, and, in particular, the invention relates to a window with single-chamber and double-chamber insulating glass unit.
EFFECT: increase in the soundproofing capacity of the window in a wide frequency band due to the use of a sound-absorbing element in the air chamber of an insulating glass unit with a sound-absorption coefficient from 0.4 to 1 c.u. in the frequency band from 200 to 500 Hz, which can be made in two variants: 1) based on an open-cell porous material with a coated front; 2) based on a fibrous material with a coated front.
