A method for monitoring the gas contamination of the kitchen rooms of multi-storey residential buildings is that the stub sensor is mounted in a prefabricated ventilation duct so that the sensor of each floor is located above the outlet of the ventilation duct of each kitchen of the riser, while all sensors of each kitchen riser of the entrance are connected to a multi-channel remote terminal of telesignalization and remote control, which, according to the first increase and the strongest signal determines the apartment, in which a gas leak occurs and sends an SMS warning to the apartment owners and/or responsible services, transmits data to the server of the organization serving the system, and also gives a signal to close the valve that blocks the gas supply to the gas main of the kitchen riser and/or entrance, including an audible alarm.
