FIELD: information protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protected polygraphy and concerns a protected sheet. The protected sheet contains: at least one paper substrate (10); at least one watermark (11) made in paper substrate (10), wherein the specified watermark has outer contour (13); at least one hole (12) with a smooth edge, obtained by the ablation of paper substrate; at least one protection film (15), which is at least partially superimposed on watermark (11) and on hole (12); specified at least one hole (12) is located inside watermark (11), so that it is limited by its outer contour, while protection film (15) contains at least one protection element (20), which is at least partially superimposed on hole (12).
EFFECT: invention provides for the improvement of protected sheets, in particular in order to obtain protection marking, which can be easily recognized by a non-specialist, and provides the possibility of obtaining a set of aesthetic effects, while it is hard-to-reproduce by persons counterfeiting banknotes.
