FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to autonomous power plants for vehicles, in particular for ships, using liquefied hydrocarbon fuel gases as fuel, and can be used in industry and transport. Ship power plant includes a fuel source that contains a reservoir and a power unit connected with a propulsor as part of an engine with fuel supply and exhaust gas outlet lines. Fuel source is additionally equipped with water preparation and methanation units connected by a water supply line, and a coolant production unit is installed on the exhaust gas outlet line connected to the methanation unit by the direct coolant / return coolant line.
EFFECT: it is possible to ensure the operation of the power plant using liquefied hydrocarbon fuel gases as fuel.
