SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to anesthesiology, and can be used during anesthesia of the upper limb in the surgical treatment of the forearm or hand. To do this, the patient is placed on his back with the arm retracted by 90°, the hand is clenched into a fist and the arm is bent at the elbow joint by 90°. The ultrasonic sensor is installed at the intersection of the outer edge of the pectoral muscle with the biceps muscle, perpendicular to the skin. Then the sensor is shifted 3 cm to the side of the hand and 1.5 cm outwards, visualizing in one plane the four main nerves of the brachial plexus in the axillary region. After that, the skin is anesthetized and injected with an isolated needle for conducting anesthesia from the outside of the ultrasound sensor, retreating by 1 cm. The needle is moved along the longitudinal axis of the ultrasonic sensor and in the plane of propagation of the ultrasonic beam. Anesthesia of the musculoskeletal nerve, radial nerve, then median and ulnar is performed.

EFFECT: method provides adequate anesthesia during the blockade of the brachial plexus by axillary access through a single injection.
