REMOTE-CONTROLLED UNMANNED UNDERWATER VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC B63C11/48 B63G8/00

Abstract RU 2829517 C1

FIELD: underwater equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater equipment, in particular to remotely controlled unmanned underwater vehicles (RCUUV) for sea or river purpose. Remote-controlled unmanned underwater vehicle contains a sealed hollow body with installed propellers and a buoyancy module connected to each other by a screw joint. Buoyancy module comprises interconnected casing, side panels and side walls, and floats of rigid closed-cell polyurethane foam arranged in buoyancy module correspond to its internal shape. In buoyancy module casing and side walls there are drain holes. Apparatus is equipped with a communication cable, a LED deep-sea lantern and a video camera. Body of the apparatus is made of PLA plastic and has the shape of a parallelepiped. Buoyancy module casing, side panels and side walls are rigidly connected to each other. Apparatus uses vector-based propulsors directed at angle of 90° in relation to each other in horizontal and vertical planes, on the front wall of the housing of the apparatus, in the lower part, an electromechanical single-stage manipulator is installed and rigidly fixed for gripping the objects of study, comprising a metal housing, a movable two-fingered gripper, a rod and an electric motor, connected in series, and a water sampling system comprising a housing, suction branch pipes connected to a system of pipelines, water collectors and a pump and rigidly connected to the housing of the system. On the front wall of the vehicle body there rigidly fixed is a LED deep-sea lantern and a video camera, and a communication cable is rigidly fixed on the rear wall of the body of the vehicle.

EFFECT: high efficiency of using the device and wider range of its application.
