FIELD: oil refining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the optimization of the removal of calcium from hydrocarbon raw materials in a desalination method for oil refining. Moreover, the desalination method for oil refining includes following stages: (a) mixing of one or several flows of flushing water with one or several flows of hydrocarbon raw materials; (b) at least partial separation of flushing water from hydrocarbons in a desalination unit for oil refining, and (c) removal of separated water and hydrocarbons from the desalination unit for oil refining in the form of one or several flows of desalinated hydrocarbons and one or several flows of wastewater. The optimization method includes: (i) provision of at least one X-ray fluorescent analyzer in at least one technological desalination point for oil refining; (ii) measurement of calcium concentration at least at one technological point using at least one X-ray fluorescent analyzer, and (iii) optional regulation of at least one technological condition of the desalination method for oil refining in response to the measurement of calcium concentration at the stage (ii). In this case, the optimization of the method additionally includes the measurement of at least one additional technological parameter selected from pH of one or several flows of flushing water, pH of one or several flows of wastewater, pH of a mixture of water and hydrocarbons, the concentration of iron at least at one technological point, the concentration of amine at least at one technological point, or any combination thereof. The invention also relates to the use of one or several X-ray fluorescent analyzers in the optimization of the removal of calcium in the desalination method for oil refining in the specified method.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method allows one to more quickly obtain information about the composition of flows and, accordingly, more quickly take measures to regulate them.
