FIELD: poultry farming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to poultry farming and can be used to improve the qualitative composition of Japanese quail eggs. To increase the concentration of carotenoids in the eggs of 45-day-old laying hens of Japanese quail, the probiotic drug “Vetom 1” is introduced into the diet at a dose of 75 mg/kg, daily, for 30 days.
EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to obtain high-quality and environmentally safe meat and eggs of Japanese quail, which have high dietary properties.
