FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to a sheet of anisotropic electrical steel used as a material for iron cores of transformers. An electrical steel sheet includes a steel sheet and, optionally, an insulating coating formed on the steel sheet. In the case when heat treatment is performed with holding at 800°C for 2 hours, with respect to the magnetostriction waveform in time (t - λ waveform) with magnetization up to 1.7 T, the peak value of the difference waveform obtained by subtracting the magnetostriction waveform after heat treatment from the magnetostriction waveform before heat treatment is 0.01×10-6 or more and 0.20×10-6 or less, and the difference obtained by subtracting the magnetic losses before heat treatment from the magnetic losses after heat treatment is 0.03 W/kg or more and 0.17 W/kg or less.

EFFECT: reduction of magnetic losses and reduction of the noise level of the transformer is provided.
