FIELD: catalytic cracking of hydrocarbons. SUBSTANCE: invention uses method of cyclone separation and device for introduction of solid particles and gaseous media into separation vessel from outlet hole of central channel and for withdrawal of gaseous media from separation vessel by means of contacting of catalyst in separation vessel with redistributed gases from external part of separation vessel. At least one part of said gases enters separation vessel through many narrowed holes located round bottom of separation vessel. EFFECT: higher efficiency due to use of desorption medium in process of catalytic cracking of hydrocarbons with fluidized catalyst. 3 cl, 1 dwg
