FIELD: jewelry industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the jewelry industry, namely to decorative inserts in jewelry. The declared insert consists of a crown with a platform and a pavilion with facets and ribs, the number and shape of which corresponds to the type of imitated stone cut. In the center of the platform there is a faceted stone set with a blind setting in such a way that only a crown is located above the surface of the platform. The edges of the insert have cuts, for example, with a diamond cutter. The declared insert is cast, and the insert in finished form is attached to the jewelry item by any known method, including by means of claws or a rim.
EFFECT: development of an insert design that allows realistically imitating a stone, as well as applicable in jewelry, providing for an insert fastening in such a way that part of the pavilion and collet are visible, simplifying the production process of the product and reducing its production costs, as well as its prime cost.
