SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for feeding continuous strip into continuous fiber tape in tobacco industry equipment for production of rod-like elements. Feeder for feeding continuous strip into continuous fiber tape in tobacco industry equipment for making rod-like elements, wherein the fiber band is made in the form of a continuous rod containing a continuous strip surrounded by a continuous fiber tape. Device comprises a unit for providing a strip for feeding a continuous strip, a unit for feeding a strip for feeding a continuous strip into the center of the continuous fiber tape. Feed device is designed so that the strip supply unit is located in the equipment for production of rod-shaped elements between the fiber tape preparation unit and the head unit to form a continuous rod. Device further comprises a feed wheel having a peripheral surface comprising a cylindrical guide surface for guiding the continuous strip and guide surfaces. Guide surfaces and cylindrical guide surface form channel for continuous strip direction; side guide surface in form of at least one rotating roller, located near rotating cylindrical guide surface. Invention also discloses equipment for production of rod-shaped elements including a feeder.
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring uniformity of supply and placement of fibrous material.
