SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Trophic support preparations are taken to normalize metabolism and blood flow in the retina and choroid. Preparation for trophic support of metabolism and blood flow in the retina and choroid is represented by 3 capsules of Retinorm once a day for four months simultaneously with the use of progressive spectacle correction.
EFFECT: method enables higher clinical effectiveness in the early stages of age-related macular degeneration, improved choroidal circulation in the patients with hypermetropia and early stages of AMD - 1 and 2 according to AREDS classification.
