SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Variants of the blood vessel detection system contain: a hollow needle containing a distal end containing a sharp tip for insertion into a vein, a hollow needle and a proximal end containing an intravenous supply connection; an infrared (IR) camera located with the possibility of extraction inside the hollow section of the hollow needle containing an IR detector; the first light source for emitting IR radiation with the first wavelength from the hollow section and a second light source for emitting IR radiation with the second wavelength from the hollow section; a comparator made with the possibility of connection to an IR camera, and the comparator, at the request of a processor connected with the possibility of communication with the comparator, compares the amount of reflected light radiation received by the IR detector during the activation of the first light source and the second light source and providing an indication of light absorption in the vein; and a sound indicator connected with the possibility of communication with a comparator, containing an acoustic system to provide feedback to the user of a blood vessel detection system indicating the optimal trajectory of insertion of a hollow needle into the body based on the detected amount of reflected light radiation received by the IR detector.

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions will make it easy to insert a needle into the patient’s body.
