FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to phthisiology, and can be used to determine the timing of surgical treatment for tuberculosis of the intrathoracic lymph nodes (ITLN) in children. The data of computed tomography of the chest organs, bronchoscopy and the results of a general clinical blood test are evaluated. Based on the assessment of such data, the terms for performing surgical treatment are determined: before the start of anti-tuberculosis therapy, after 2 months of anti-tuberculosis therapy, or after 6, 9 or 12 months.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the accuracy of determining the timing of surgical treatment for tuberculosis of ITLN in children by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
