METHOD FOR FORMING A CHEMOTHERAPY REGIMEN FOR PRIMARY INTRATHORACIC TUBERCULOSIS IN CHILDREN FROM TUBERCULOSIS INFECTION CENTERS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61K31/4409 A61K31/395 A61K31/7036 A61P31/06

Abstract RU 2704816 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to phthisiology, and can be used in forming a chemotherapy regimen for primary intrathoracic tuberculosis in children from tuberculosis infection centers. Method of the invention involves preliminary examination of the microbiological examination data and the type of bacterioexcretion at the source of the infection, the prevalence of the tuberculosis process in the child, presence of comorbid pathology in patient, age limitations for use of anti-tuberculosis preparations. Patients with four degrees of prevalence of the tuberculosis process are identified, including a first degree with a widespread process with complicated course, a second degree with a common process, a third degree with a limited process and a fourth degree with a process in "small forms", patients are divided into six groups according to the type of bacterioexcretion and drug resistance in the source of infection and depending on the detected group and degree, the total length of the chemotherapy and its intensive phase are determined.

EFFECT: using the invention enables selecting an optimal strategy of treatment providing an effective result in different severity of tuberculosis processes.
