FIELD: education.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of airborne training of personnel and can be used in simulators for hypoxic training of parachute jumpers for high-altitude airdrops. Method for preparing parachute jumpers for high-altitude airdrops, characterised by the fact that after the trainee occupies the chamber and wears the oxygen equipment, the pressure in the chamber is lowered to 512 mm Hg and maintained at the set level for the required time. Upon the set time, the trainee deactivates the oxygen equipment and moves to the hyperbaric chamber controlled by the monitoring and control system; the pressure in the chamber is lowered to a value from 405 mm Hg to 198 mm Hg, corresponding to the altitude simulated by the simulator, and maintained at the set level until the required time. The trainee is therein blasted with air flows with an admixed cooling agent in order to simulate air flows occurring when opening the ramp and during high-altitude airdrops. In order to simulate the approach to the earth's surface during an airdrop, the pressure in the chamber is gradually increased to 760 mm Hg.
EFFECT: training level of the trainees is increased.
