FIELD: training means.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of training paratroopers for airborne training. Method comprises placing a trainee in a virtual reality helmet in a parachute suspension system fixed on a simulator frame, creating a virtual space through a control computer based on 3D simulation in a certain way, as well as its changes to simulate movement in an air environment, for which an air flow is created, the frame with counterweights is tilted, simulating operation with a parachute system by acting on its free ends and lines, simulating landing, while demonstrating the situation, as well as actions of other trainees in the group to the trainee in virtual reality at all stages of training, as well as for working out various situations of actions of the landing group.
EFFECT: improving the quality of parachutist training, including in emergency situations.
