FIELD: building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of building materials and can be used to manufacture articles from highly strong decorative concrete, exhibiting glow-in-the-dark properties throughout the entire period of operation. The method includes joint mixing of a premade powder of a photoluminescent pigment and a binder, introducing marble chips of various fractions, and introducing the mixing water, resulting in a water-solid ratio not above 0.45. The mixing water therein contains a polycarboxylate additive. The concrete mix is laid in the mould. The moulded product is packaged in a waterproof material and held for at least 24 hours in the mould until full solidification of the article. The article is extracted from the mould, followed by holding the product for 96 hours in normal solidifying conditions. The face surface is smoothed and coated with an acrylic-based impregnation agent. White portland cement is therein used as cement. The binder of the concrete mixture is represented by a two-component white portland cement - marble flour system with a ratio of components: white portland cement 80 to 70%, marble flour 20 to 30%. A waterproof photoluminescent pigment LDP-2 mA (40) is therein used as a photoluminescent pigment, being introduced into the concrete mix at the dry mixing stage in the range of 5 to 10% of the mass of cement.
EFFECT: increase in the physico-mechanical characteristics of the articles and the strength of the glow-in-the-dark property, reduction in the consumption of cement.
