FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: apheresis apparatus for extracorporeal removal of C-reactive protein (CRP) from the blood comprises an extracorporeal circulation system for blood, a tool for forming and controlling the blood flow in the extracorporeal circulation system, a cell separator for separating blood into plasma and cellular components, an apheresis column for removing CRP from the blood by affinity chromatography. The extracorporeal circulation system comprises an arterial line to the cell separator, a plasma line from the cell separator to the apheresis column, a plasma line for CRP-depleted plasma from the apheresis column to point P1, a cell mass line for the separated cellular components from the cell separator to point P1, and a venous line originating from point P1. The central processing unit is used to control the apheresis apparatus. A connecting line is used to connect a liquid container to the arterial line or to the cell separator. A bypass line branches off the plasma line and is connected to the plasma line. A waste line diverges directly from the apheresis column or from the plasma line, in the direction of the flow before the bypass line connection point. A regeneration line diverges from the liquid container or from the connecting line and passes to the plasma line, in the direction of the flow to or after the bypass line branching point, or directly to the apheresis column. Disclosed are an alternative variant of the apparatus and variants of the method for regenerating the apheresis column in apparatus.

EFFECT: simplified regeneration of apheresis columns.
