SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to molecular genetic research. A method for the professional selection of employees of law enforcement agencies and persons whose activities are associated with a high danger to life and health is proposed for the effective performance of official activities in extreme conditions, including the identification of persons without psychiatric and antisocial pathology by using the clinical genealogical method and the determination by the molecular genetic method in the DNA preparations of an employee of the G genotype of the A/G 10398 polymorphism of the MTND3 gene, the presence of which predisposes to adequate and successful performance in these professions.

EFFECT: invention provides for the expansion of the arsenal of methods for the profile selection of candidates for effective combat activities in law enforcement agencies.
