SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multiblock copolyurethane-imide with a shape memory effect. Copolyurethane-imide constitutes a copoly(polypropylene glycol urethane biphenylene pyromellitimide) based on poly(propylene glycol) terminated with 2,4-toluene diisocyanate (TDI) with a molecular weight of 2,300 benzidine and pyromellite anhydride, with the structural formula: wherein k equals 2,300 and the value of n is such that the resulting characteristic viscosity of copolyurethane-imide is 0.9*100 cm3/g.

EFFECT: resulting copolyurethane-imide and composites based thereon are capable of exhibiting the shape memory effect.
