FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a copoly(propylene glycol urethane-paraphenylene pyromellithymide) PM-2300-PF used for producing composite materials for the manufacture of articles for structural, electrotechnical, general, and special purposes used in automobile-, aircraft-, and shipbuilding, space engineering, in the petrochemical industry, in railway transport, and in medicine. Copoly(urethane-imide) PM-2300-PF constitutes a compound based on a 2,4-toluylene diisocyanate-terminated polypropylene glycol with a molecular weight of 2,300, paraphenylene diamine, and a pyromellite anhydride by the formula:
, where the value of n is such that the resulting characteristic viscosity of copoly(urethane-imide) is 0.93*100 cm3/g. The value of the degree of polymerisation of polypropylene glycol k is 32.
EFFECT: composites based on copoly(urethane-imide) PM-2300-PF have a shape memory effect.
