FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering and can be used when harvesting bast crops, for forming and pressing rolls from stem tapes. The round baler includes a frame resting on the wheels, a pick-up body with a drive, a pressing apparatus with a hydraulic transmission containing a control system, a bale binding mechanism, a transmission to the working bodies. The drive is carried out from the baler wheel, while the drive is equipped with a detachable clutch.
EFFECT: invention provides the optimal kinematic mode of the pick-up body.
